Our dynamic team made up of passionate individuals each with their own flair for marketing, content creation and design comes together to create the force that is, The Maraschino Team!

Based in the best part of the Dolphin Coast, Ballito, Maraschino Lifestyle Marketing and Events works with a diverse range of clientele in and around Ballito and the North Coast. Focusing on client relationships and building brand awareness through creating unique and personalised content, brand campaigns, events, designs and communication strategies for each of our clients.

Headed up by Mandy Rootman who has worked in the marketing arena for over 25 years, the team is led by experience and passion. Mandy is an expert relationship builder and has over the years built up an impressive network of industry professionals and suppliers.

With ease and flair, the team turns a ‘vision’ into a ‘visual’, with a collection of skills and strengths and a collaboration of creative ideas, the team delivers a product fueled by these assets. Whether we are taking the first step with our clients into their business journey from the initial concept or assisting with an entire rebrand, we treat every client as if their business was our own.

Born as a  one-woman show pioneered by Mandy Rootman 26 years ago, Maraschino Lifestyle Marketing is celebrating its 3rd year of residency in Ballito, with a team of 8 creatives and a consistently growing client portfolio.

Marcelle Rootman

Our website designer, Marcelle has 21 years of experience with the world wide web. She is passionate about people and helping people gain traction threw their online presence. She loves animals and being around good friends. 

Tayla Rhodes

Passionate about all aspects of events from concept, design and styling, to execution and coordination. Showcasing her talent, dedication and creativity through each event regardless of type. Tayla loves keeping up to date on all industry trends! 

Adrian Roberts

Adrian Roberts is a dedicated and enthusiastic professional who combines a strong business acumen with his extensive experience in marketing, events, finance, to name a few. He thrives on being part of a successful and productive team and doesn't mind a pressurised working environment.

Leonard de Jager

A champion with a track record of creating and implementing successful social media and marketing campaigns. He enjoys developing proactive digital marketing initiatives from concept to delivery and includes optimization. Adept at studying and understanding brands is Leonard's forte!


Fritz Lange

An excellent communicator and perfectionist, Fritz enjoys organising and updating internal databases, monitoring customer complaints on channels and reaching out to provide assistance. Providing support on all fronts for the team, Fritz assists in managing the work flow efficiently.
